Today we were going go Burbage for me to do another trad lead, but unfortunately the weather turned against usangry. So we traveled from the crag to the Foundry.

I warmed up on the steep 6a+/6b yellow on the Five Ten wall. Then I decided to climb the steep White 6c/6c+ also on the Five Ten wall. I got up to nearly the middle of the steep bit easily but on a crossover but I got my feet wrong and came off. I got back on just below and did then move cleanly and finished the rest with ease. I had a break then came back planning to do the whole thing clean. Normally after a fall on the Five Ten wall I don't want to get back up there, today however I was so up for it as I was in a much better place with my headcool. After a break I got back on the wall, I got past the move where I came off - my feet cut loose but I held it - I got to the edge where it changes to nearly vertical and stupidly messed up my feet and came off crying! I was not going to be beaten, but on trying again too tired for the move where I came off at the first attempt (for me the crux). I went straight on and ran up a load more easier leads as a bit of an endurance finish.

I will get that White on the Five Ten wall - I have to get that White on on the Five Ten wall. I AM CURED OF MY FEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!cheeky
