At the weekend I competed in the BMC Open Youth Bouldering and Lead events in Sheffield. This was competing in youth C

At the Open Bouldering event at The Climbing Works, I flashed 6 out 8 of my qualifiers getting all 8 bonuses at first attempt, but came 7th just missing out on the final.

However at the Open Lead event at The Foundry I did considerably better! I went into the final in 4th place and came 2nd over all! Great to have Podium, Pippa came first so even better to have 2 Foundry Academy girls on the podium at The Foundry! Monday thing got a bit surreal when I got a text from Mum saying that I had been SELECTED FOR THE JUNIOR GB LEAD TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - I texted back "Are you joking?" and she replied "No, see BMC website" https://www.thebmc.co.uk/2014-gb-junior-climbing-teams-selected
