I had a great time meeting up with everyone again at Awesome Walls in Sheffield.
They had brought in some internation route setters to give us some routes of internation comp standard - my first was an 7b+ and I got to 4 moves from the top - higher than anyone else in my group! I then had a go at a 7c and came off at the same place as Aiden Dunne on my onsight but got further on my later attempts
The 2nd day I had a go at redpointing an 8a+.
Laura the nutionalist said that Chocolate milk (without fructose syrup) is a great recovery drink in the 20mins after training! Flapjack (if it contains the right things) is good too! She liked my nuts, seeds and dried fruit mix. Jelly babies or jelly beans are a great energy boost whilest you are still climbing.
